About CWM

CWM is the committee of the IMU concerned with issues related to women in mathematics worldwide.

The remit of CWM is to promote international contacts between national and regional organisations for women and mathematics and to undertake other related activities, including responsibilty for this website.

CWM was approved by the IMU Executive Committee in March 2015. Its first meeting took place in Cortona, Italy in September 2015; a detailed report can be found here. The second meeting was in Berlin, July 2016.

CWM has been supporting some of the IWM activities since 2016.
